Questions, answered
How does the person I send it to use it? +
They get an email with your message, the card and a code. The button in it opens plans for where they’re going with the code already in; or they type it as a promo code at checkout on arrigo.app. No account or app needed.
Do I have to know where they’re going? +
No. Pick a destination and the email opens its plans, or choose Not sure yet and they pick from 200+ destinations themselves. The card works on any of them either way.
Does it expire? +
No. An arrigo gift card never expires, so it’s there for a trip next month or next year.
What if the plan costs less than the card? +
The rest stays on the same code for their next plan. A $50 card on Japan 20 GB at $22.99 leaves $27.01 for later. If a plan costs more, they pay the difference by card.
Can they use it with a promo code? +
The gift code goes in the promo code field, so it takes the place of any other code on that order. One plan per order: if the card is worth more, the rest stays on the same code.
Can I schedule it? +
Yes. Pick any day up to a year ahead and it arrives at 9:00 that morning, your time. You get a receipt by email as soon as you pay.
Does their phone need to support eSIM? +
Yes. Most phones from the last few years do, and the phone needs to be unlocked. If you’re not sure, send them the device list with the card. See the device list.
Can I buy gift cards for a team or clients? +
Yes. For ten or more cards, with your logo on the card and one invoice, write to us and we’ll set it up. Write to support@arrigo.app.
Can a gift card be refunded? +
A card nobody has used can be refunded to the buyer within 14 days of purchase. After that, or once part of it is spent, it can’t be exchanged for cash, except where the law says otherwise.
