How can we help?

1-minute check

No internet after landing?

Go through these quick steps on your phone. Most connections come back by step 3.

Step 1 of 6

Is the ArriGo line turned on?

Settings → Mobile/Cellular → tap your ArriGo line → turn on "Turn On This Line".

🧭

Before you buy

Check your phone and pick the right plan.

What is an eSIM? +
An eSIM is a SIM card built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you scan a QR code and a data plan downloads in about a minute. Your regular SIM stays in for calls and texts, and you can switch between lines in Settings.

Does my phone support eSIM? +
Dial *#06#. If you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM. Most iPhones from XS/XR onward, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy S, Z and some A models do. See the full device list.

How do I know my phone is unlocked? +
Your phone must not be locked to one carrier. On iPhone: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock should say "No SIM restrictions". On Android, if you bought the phone from a carrier on contract, ask them. A locked phone won't accept our eSIM.

Country, regional or Global plan? +
One country: a country plan is usually the cheapest. Several countries on one trip: a regional plan covers them all on one eSIM. Many regions or a round-the-world trip: Global works in 120+ countries.

How much data do I need? +
Rough guide per day: maps, messaging and email use about 100–300 MB; plus social media and photos about 0.5–1 GB; streaming video can use 1 GB or more per hour. For a week of normal use, 3–5 GB is plenty for most people. Turn off automatic app and photo backups to save data.
Do I get a phone number? +
No, ArriGo eSIMs are data-only. You can call and text over WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram and other apps, and your home number keeps working on your main SIM. Phone numbers are coming soon.
How can I pay? +
By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on a secure Stripe checkout. Prices are in US dollars and include everything; your bank may add a currency conversion fee.
Can I buy eSIMs for my team? +
Yes. ArriGo for Business lets you buy 2–30 eSIMs in one order with volume discounts and an automatic invoice. Each person gets their own QR code by email.

Before you fly

Install at home, it takes two minutes.

When should I install my eSIM? +
Install it at home on Wi-Fi, a day or two before you leave. Installing needs an internet connection, and it's easier with a second screen to scan the QR code from.
How do I install it on iPhone? +
Open your QR code (email or order page) on another screen. On the iPhone go to Settings → Mobile/Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code and scan it. On iOS 17.4 or later you can instead tap Install on this iPhone on your order page. Name the new line, for example "Travel".
How do I install it on Android? +
Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM → Scan QR code. Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Download a SIM instead. Can't scan? Choose "Enter code manually" and paste the codes from your order page.
When does my plan start counting days? +
Each plan page shows it: most start when the eSIM first connects to a network in a covered country, some start when you install. Installing early at home is safe for plans that start on first connection.
Can I keep my regular SIM? +
Yes. The eSIM is added as a second line. Keep your main SIM on for calls and texts if you like, and set the ArriGo line as your mobile data line.
I didn't get my QR code email +
Check spam and promotions folders. Your QR code is also on your order page: the link is in your payment receipt. Still nothing after 15 minutes? Write to support@arrigo.app with the email you used at checkout.

After you land

Switch on and get online.

How do I turn the eSIM on after landing? +
Go to Settings → Mobile/Cellular, turn on your ArriGo line, switch on Data Roaming for that line and choose it as your mobile data line. Connection usually takes a minute or two.
Why do I need Data Roaming on? Will I be charged? +
Our eSIM uses local partner networks, so your phone sees it as roaming. That's normal and included in your plan. To avoid charges from your home carrier, keep Data Roaming off on your main SIM line.
Can I share data with hotspot? +
Yes, on most plans. Hotspot data counts towards your plan allowance.
Will WhatsApp keep my number? +
Yes. WhatsApp, iMessage and FaceTime stay linked to your usual number, even while your data runs on the ArriGo eSIM.

During your trip

Keep an eye on data and coverage.

How do I check how much data is left? +
On iPhone: Settings → Mobile/Cellular shows data used per line. On Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → App data usage. Your plan's total and validity are on your order page.

I ran out of data. What now? +
Top-ups aren't available yet, but you can buy another plan for the same destination in a minute and install it alongside the first. Find a plan.
Can I use my eSIM in another country? +
Only in the countries your plan covers, listed on its plan page. Crossing borders often? A regional or Global plan covers many countries on one eSIM.

After your trip

Wrap up, or plan the next one.

Should I delete the eSIM? +
You can remove it once your plan has expired: Settings → Mobile/Cellular → your ArriGo line → Delete eSIM. Don't delete it while the plan is still active: a deleted eSIM can't be reinstalled.
Can I get a refund? +
If your eSIM was never delivered, or can't be installed because of a problem on our side, you get a full refund. Unused eSIMs that were never installed can be refunded within 30 days. Installed or used eSIMs can't be refunded. Full details in our Refund Policy.
Can I reuse my eSIM on my next trip? +
Each eSIM comes with one plan. For your next trip, buy a new plan; it comes with a new QR code.

Troubleshooting

Something not working? Start here.

"Unable to add eSIM" or "code no longer valid" +
Each QR code can be installed once. If you scanned it before, the eSIM is probably already on your phone under Mobile/Cellular. If it's not there and the error repeats, check your phone is unlocked, then write to support@arrigo.app.
No service or "No internet connection" +
Run the 1-minute check above. Most issues are solved by turning on Data Roaming for the ArriGo line and restarting the phone.
Internet is slow +
Speed depends on local coverage. Try moving to an open area, toggling Airplane mode, or choosing another network under Network Selection. Some plans slow down after a daily high-speed allowance: see your plan page.
